Questions?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover when you're ready to upgrade to a paying account.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
All of our plans include a 30-day free trial for you to evaluate Sifter. If you need more than 30 days to find out if Sifter is right for you? Don't worry. Just let us know, and we'll be happy to extend it for you. During the trial, your file storage space is limited to 50mb, but other than that, you'll have a fully functional account.
If you haven't upgraded to a paying account, we'll send you a reminder 5 days before your trial is about to expire. If you like Sifter, you can provide payment information and we'll begin billing you monthly. If you haven't provided payment information by the end of your trial, your account will be frozen. You'll still be able to export all of your data, upgrade, or cancel your account even if your account is frozen.
What is an "Open Project"?
Within Sifter, projects can be in several states: Active, Inactive, and Archived. You can choose to archive and unarchive projects at any time. Active and Inactive projects are considered Open since they can accept new issues, whereas archived projects cannot accept new issues. Both Active and Inactive projects count against your project limit while archived projects do not count against your project limit. File attached to issues within archived projects will still count against your file storage limits.
How does the SSL security work?
All plans use SSL on login and billing pages, but only the Large, Medium, and Small plans deliver all of your pages using 128-bit SSL.
Are there any cancellation fees or long-term commitments?
Sifter is month-to-month, and you can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your plan at any time. When you cancel, we'll automatically close your account and permanently delete all of your content. We do not issue refunds or prorate partial months.
